We offer independent advice to our clients on the most appropriate ZLD technology and the optimum form of project delivery. However, our International Partners such as Ecotherm (Solar Steam Generator), Thermosol (Low Grade MED) and related manufacturers can help whenever needed.

Zero Liquid Discharge Solution

Brine Management

technology

We work in the field of industrial sustainability by focusing on industrial waste heat recovery and utilising renewable energy resources for industrial wastewater treatment, zero liquid discharge, mineral extraction, and thermal desalination.

Our vision is to make industrial processes more sustainable and reduce their environmental impacts by developing economic solutions. For this purpose, we do research, conceptual design, feasibility studies, consulting, engineering services, design, and implementation of semi-industrial pilot plants in the following main areas (experiences) in collaboration with our European and Middle Eastern partners:

Our main targeted industries are mining, chemical, oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, water, and power.

Dr. Bijan Rahimi

Water & Energy Advisor

Make your industrial process more sustainable by managing its entropy generation!

the brain behind our Brine Management technology:

Bijan is a mechanical engineer with about a decade of industrial experience in industrial heat recoveries, renewable energy, water, and mineral refinery sectors in Iran and Australia. He holds a PhD degree in Mechanical (Thermal) Engineering from the University of Western Australia, as well. During his PhD studies, he published 4 peer-reviewed journal articles, 2 conference papers, and 1 U.S. patent. He has also received many awards such as the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA), NCEDA (National Centre of Excellence in Desalination Australia), and UWA top-up scholarships. His PhD project was related to a novel waste heat recovery process for desalination and industrial wastewater treatment. In this project, he successfully customised a novel process through his novel idea (that has been patented, as well) for BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina Refinery Plant in Western Australia. His PhD thesis has been also published as a reference book in Elsevier entitled “Low-Grade Heat Driven Multi-Effect Distillation and Desalination”, Elsevier, (B. Rahimi, H. T. Chua, 2017). This book has been translated into Chinese, as well.
